Professor C. K. Raju holds a BSc (Hons) in physics, an MSc in mathematics, from Mumbai, and a PhD from the Indian Statistical Institute. He has long been a Professor in departments of mathematics and computer science.
He played a key role in the C-DAC team which built the first Indian supercomputer, Param. Later, he was Professor and headed India’s then-largest computer-science department.
He has many books and articles and both books and articles have been highly praised by both referees and readers. He has lectured on six continents, has been widely reported in the press, and has written popular-level articles for newspapers and magazines.
