Scholars from 3 countries participated. <a href=\"http:\/\/multiworldindia.org\/2012\/02\/\">Here<\/a> is the announcement\u00a0for the workshop, and an <a href=\"http:\/\/multiworldindia.org\/12\/decolonised-phil-of-science-workshop\/\">earlier one<\/a> on the Multiversity site.<\/p>\n<p>The issue is part of the decolonisation agenda, but was precipitated when a person who trained as a missionary in Singapore Bible College, and never acquired any\u00a0knowledge of science or philosophy, but\u00a0got a PhD from Cambridge in the philosophy of science, started trying to use the classroom as a pulpit.
